Agate Construction was retained by the Southern NJ Rail Group (SNJRG) to install structural repair jackets on Piers 8 thru 11 of the River Line Structure U.G. 12.28 over the Rancocas Creek in Delanco, NJ. The specified jackets were 8 to 10 feet in diameter, and were filled with high strength grout. Diving operations were required to support the jacket installation and grout pumping operation. The conditions at the site included strong currents and deep black water. The value of the project was 0.9 M, which was completed on schedule and within budget.
